DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Found these from an 86 GSXR 750..Not sure what I am going to do with them yet, but I could not pass em up. Came with the rear wheel 18" 3.50, tire is a Michelin 160/60/18, the front wheel is an 18" 2.75 with a Dunlop 110/80/18. The swingarm, sprockets, forks and rotors were all included. forks tubes look really good..

Im thinking the swingarm will probably bolt right up, the shock might be another issue but swapping out the rear means swapping out the front forks and that leads to a kazillion more small projects...do I sound tired? :D

oh yeah paid $75 bucks

Joe,
That 160/60-18 is way too big for a 3.5x18" wheel. In fact I think it is too big for a 4.0x18" wheel. That looks like a Road Pilot right?

One more thing to watch out for is the 750's came with a different caliper/mount I think due to a smaller front rotor than 1100's

Also teh 750 swinger is a little shorter than the 1100 Gixxer. I could measure out the GSXR 1100 and compare if you need.

Jim,
Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, may save them for my next project or sell them. I actually went and looked at an 86 GSXR 750 today, same guy who had the wheels. He wanted $800 for the bike, it was pretty ragged out, but all the parts were there. I passed on it but he had a bunch of extra parts to go with it. Could have been a decent project if I could have got it for $300 - $400. I bought the extra front end and rear end he had for $75.00.
