    here is one of my gs550 cafe racers its a 1977 7k mile example all work done by myself inc the fibreglas tank seat & mudguard (own designs) finished in ford royal blue (looks purple in some light) with blue & purple flake in the clear coat
    looking at building 650 or 700 top end onto a spare 550 bottom end i have kicking about

          i have a mate that makes all our screens & he "blows" the bubbles for us in some sort of former.
          here is another one of our gs550's finished in candy ruby red over silver base with darker candy red decals,black powder coated wheels, frame & swinging arm, fitted with a gs850 tank & one of my own design fibreglass seats

                          Very much missed (I want to replace the GR for another one) 81 GS750L...

                          Over bored, port and polish ran better then it looked, until I burnt it out for I was young and Dumb. Then made more "customizations" that made it look worse (won't be posting those pics).

                          I'll get another, some day!

                                Ese92, looks like good start, what is the end result? I think the rear needs a bit of attention, different seat pan with rear cowl, shorten rear fender so its closer to the seat area, current seat takes away from the lines, many different cafe style seat pans out there. Keep it up.
