    Bad day…

I'm so sorry to hear about Wazz and his wife crashing. I wish them a speedy recovery from their injuries, and hope they will recover in good shape financially too.
    Sincerely, Bill

Aside from concern for Greg ("Wazz") and Tina's injurys and recovery:
Let me state that I have observed Greg to be a very skilled rider, and a reasonable rider.

So very sorry to hear this.

The bike can be repaired, how's Wazz and Tina?
Any arrangements to get them and their equipment home?
Maybe we should sticky this thread?

Wow sorry to hear about this, I was looking for pictures of the wedding. Hopefully the Greg and Tina are doing better. The best news will be seeing Greg and Tina back and doing well.

I know this type of thing can be traumatic on all participants of a rally. It certainly was for us. Bill (Chef1366) went down on our recent Western States rally (Reno); fortunately and miraculously he only broke his thumb.

Sounds like Greg is stable, and I hope Tina recovers from her surgery so as well.

                        Well yes it can.

Having just gotten back from close to 2000 miles in a week it is worth mentioning to always try and keep 20% margin in the turns. Setting up in blind turns on unfamiliar roads you never really know when a decreasing radius turn will pop up. You need that reserve to insure you make the turn.

If you are at 90% and either the turn radius decreases 10% or you under estimate your speed by 10% you are going into the other lane or off the road. That is why I say 20%. That gives you a margin for 10% under estimate on speed and 10% decreasing radius.

I just got home, was getting on line to post that I made it home safely (thankfully).
I saw the thread about Greg and Tina. Major bummer, I hate to hear this.
Greg & Tina, you're in our toughts and prayer. Hoping for a speedy recovery for the both of you.
                            Best wishes.

Aside from offering our support, is there a way that we can help them out with any of the expenses this is going to incur?
