    RIP Spike

It actually happened last summer, about 10 months ago. My long time pal, Spike, was out riding late one night on an empty country road and got t-boned at high speed by a drunk in a pickup who blew a stop sign out of a dark side road. Investigator said Spike was doing the limit. Pretty ironic for him. Well, I'm just glad Spike didn't feel a thing and went to that big ride in the sky doing what he loved most. We'll ride together again one day, my friend.

I'm sorry. You've just described why I am reluctant to ride late at night. Heck, I try to avoid even driving the car late at night.

People that ride motorcycles are a special breed. Only those that ride can explain it. Sorry for your loss. But Spike will be waiting for you and boy, will you ever have a great ride then!! I wish you the best of memories of your friend.
