    New ProGrips " rally raid" style

    Might install these badges( from a old dodge truck)

    GS450Adventurer, sound's catchy.

    I ordered a set of DR650/350/250 motocross peg's. Going to take my stock shift lever down and try and find a folder that can be made to work.

          And the Crash bar's. Worked on one side today.

          Start with this hunk of crap.

          Cut, cut and hack some more-

          l]

          Tucked up nice and tight to the motor.

            Finished up the engine guards-

            Found a Folding shift lever that could be made to fit.
            CRF100/230.

            A bit of hammering and bending-

            Do some sanding to clear the case-
            ]

            Clear's the case by 1/8"-

            Look's like it belongs.

            I had to do some filing/beating to make it fit the shift shaft, but in the end it gave in. We'll see if it works in the long term.

            in other news I saw a nice TM400 at the suzuki dealer. I want it.

              Installed my one of my $3 ebay "waterproof" Volt meters.

              Nice big hole in the instrument cluster( fuel guage on other models?). A bit of cutting with a dremel and it fit right in.

              Wired it into the Brown( gauge lights/park) circuit. Only downside is it's down 2 volt's from what the VM read's right on the battery. But I can watch the Voltage change as I rev it, so it will show me that it is in fact charging.

              .
              Put the wiring back in the bag.

              Wah-lah...

                Built myself a toolbox-

                ]

                Mounted up my tire's-

                Look's gnarly-

                Went for the first ride, about 60 miles of back roads and some packdirt/gravel.

                  Took her out to the Desert 100. It went, well.... for little bit. Battery couldn't take the beating though. May have been the only Suzuki GS ever to grace the poker run course at any distance.
