Well, as you can see, I'm not much of a chatter online. I do have some news to share. My Suzuki herd is growing. Last summer I picked up a 1974 GT550 Indy.:
But the reason I thought to post here again is the GS650G I picked up yesterday.:
I'm looking forward to doing some local riding with this in a month or so when the weather warms!

How you find such beautiful machines is beyond me, but I congratulate you for it!

I got it licensed and insured yesterday and took it for a spin. What a nice little bike! I really think this could be the ultimate commuter! What a joy to tool around town on and still do a great job on a short trip!

Wow all three of those are beautiful bikes.
I raced a 4 valve GSX750 in Nov '79, very nice machine and I think it was same or similar paint job to yours.
We did have a problem with the primary drive as it failed during our annual Castrol 6hr race.
Apparently it heated up enough after 4 1/2 hours to free spin on the shaft, it was a real shame as we had a 20 minute lead on the 2nd place team and were 4th or 5th in the overall standings when she coasted into the pits a few laps before we were scheduled for the final pit stop. The GSX 1100 on the other hand was flawless and took the top 3 spots in the open class.

That's a beauty. I raced one also, faster by far than all off the 750's of that year. If it needs chain and sprockets a 530 conversion is a must. I picked up 6 mph top end with that conversion. At the time we raced show floor production bikes and I was accused of cheating. NEVER had a oiling issue. a 750ez is a E model, Z is the year 82 I believe. An ES is the fairinged version.Current Rides: 82 GS1100E, 00 Triumph 955 Speed Triple, 03 Kawasaki ZRX1200, 01 Honda GL1800, '15 Kawasaki 1000 Versys
