Everything is beautiful in Vermont. Even the fact that 'there's less to do', and that there are no billboards, is beautiful. Plenty of good scenic riding, just about anywhere - it is the Green Mountain State for a reason.

An awesome ride is through the 'notch (Smuggler's notch). Stowe, VT is a nice quaint town with a ski mountain that likely has gondola rides to the top of the mountain. The mountain road goes up and gets narrow and twisty, and goes through the notch.

Rt 100 is awesome (Rutland to Stowe).

My favorite thing to do in Vermont in the summer is swim. There are swimming holes everywhere - just find one by the side of the road and jump in.

Magic Hat brewery is kinda neat. You can drink tons of samples in the back but they don't sell beer (I think they will fill growlers), and there are tours and a gift shop.

Church Street on Burlington: closed to vehicle traffic, loaded with shops, cafes, etc and things like street entertainment, jugglers, etc.
