    Basic but AWESOME! Addition

Appreciate you noticing. Have to say loving this bike more and more, the more I ride it. Posted to the forum awhile back about looking for some highway pegs. Was able to cobble together this basic addition but boy oh boy what a difference in comfort and rideability!

        Adding just one more.

Last pic. Like I said simple, low cost , very functional addition.

Yah, windshield and highway pegs can help with making it so can ride further/longer.
And an L really needs help in that area.

Am surprised by a couple things:
          - lack of other comments. But do understand that lots of folks do not like Ls.
But I do appreciate that yours is in nice stock condition. And you have a good picture also.

          - that you can post pictures in this section of the forum.

Congrats on the bike of the month. I was doing some work on a 750L for someone and part of it was swapping the bars for ones that were a bit lower, man what an amazing difference it made to comfort.

Congrats on the bike of the month as well.
I haven't seen too many L's around these days, that's a real nice example.

Congrats on BOM! Real nice bike. As for people not liking the L model....whatever. But seeing those highway pegs... wow. Looks like something you'd see in a Mad Max movie... you just need to add something long and sharp. Like a sword. Just kidding! The GS850 is a really good, strong running bike. My youngest used to have one but he sold it. He hates himself for that now. Again, congrats!

If they dig in - you're off.
I'd cut them short and hinge them. They can still be as long, but much safer.

Hi, I have pretty much the same bike. What luggage rack would you recommend?

the luggage rack you see is actually off a gs750, KG is what's engraved on it? Had to fit it on with a couple of 2 inch spacers on the rear turn signals. Very surprised with the amount of varying positions that can be moved in. Wanted to maintain the " old school" look. Luggage rack slats are vinyl covered. Works mint.

What grips and mirrors are those. I need some for my 82 850L.

The grips that are on it are original ( don't see any logo or name brand). And the mirrors were purchased here http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-View-L...DIOp2A&vxp=mtr. Originals had the mirror finish all flaking off, unuseable. But these " cheapies" are working and looking excellent, ( imho)
