    A GPZ550 but what HP can a 10.25 comp ration 615 overbore give

    what with pods and flatslides and a four into one and cams and magic things?

    My '82 GPz 550 made 75 rwhp on a dyno after about the same set of mods. That one looks to need a lot of tidying up, though.

      yes but its cheap at 1100 I think. The wiseco kit costs 500 plus on ebay.

        Assuming the motor work was done right, they are truly great bikes. I spent too much doing mine, but it was fun to keep up with the first generation of Hurricane 600's when they came out.

          I wouldn't buy a bike like that based on HP. It's a classic.

            I think he likes it outright, but the mods, if done well, definitely add to the fun factor.

              That would be a fun resto-mod!

              I bet it can be had for less than a thousand!

                  Its worth buying but based on the pictures but I bet its no turn key example. There are other options than Wiseco BB but I have never tried em
