    Good luck. Don't forget the connections are as much a part of the system as anything else and the battery.

        I think the stator is unserviceable!
        That would be my definition of catastrophic failure.

        Agreed that replacement of the R/R would probably be in good order. The SH775 is your best option.

        1982 GS850GLZ (Daily rider when the weather is crap)

        Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.

          I have the same problem going on. phase to phase at 5000 rpm a-b 6volts a-c 4volts and b-c 0 volts. but it oh med out good at 0.6 on all 3 phases.
