Spacebar doesn't work for quoted replies or PM's

I've been looking around, and apparently it's a vbb thing. Not sure if there's a known solution, but when using Chrome, the spacebar doesn't work during quoted replies or PM's. I can't respond to PM's without looking like I'm an idiot.

If you go to advanced it will work.

I've noticed that the space bar will work if the space is not the last character in the text. So you can either go to advanced mode, or dump some disposable text on the line below to be deleted after.

Or just hit enter after you start typing then backspace to get back where you were. Should work fine after that.

Oddly, sometime spacebar works for me (like right now) and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't I just type a period, hit left arrow and then everything is good.

Just click on the right "AA" with a red X thru it before typing. If you place your mouse above it it will say REMOVE FORMAT. Must do it before typing so much as 1 letter though or it doesnt work right.

Oh it's not just me! I've been going to advanced mode for ages... happens on the Katana Australia forum as well so I at least knew it wasn't just the GSR.

The 'having some text afterward' has been working well for me, since finding this thread. Before I was reloading pages, losing text, etc.
