VERY NICE! I wish I had painting skills like that! I'm gonna be learning to paint on my rebuild soon enough. Any tips on what paint, the steps, etc.??? Inquiring minds want to know!

When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!

I just got with my buddy that manages a paint supply place and he set me up with the gun and desacant drier filters. I had some old metal real estate signs and he gave me some returned paint and I just started practicing laying down the primer..made mistakes and corrected things and got good at that first.
Then i laid some paint to the primer and figured out my liquid feed and air and speed of my sweeps across the panels. Got good at that and then moved on to adding clear over the paint. Made a lot of errors and asked a lot of questions right here on the forum. Got really frustrated with myself and some results but I kept picking away.

Chuck, you seem to get into an awful lot of different stuff. No matter what it is it comes out great as you are really a competent guy. I hate people like you (jealousy). You're the one guy I'd like having go thru an old bike for me.
