    key dilemma

I've replaced my ignition and gas cap with ebay bargains, expecting to be able to rekey the cap with the new ignition key but the grooves on the keys are on opposite sides! I scrutinized every gas cap photo on ebay to make sure I was getting one with the groove on the correct side but the image must have been mirrored, and the guy in Thailand selling it wasn't very helpful in answering my questions.

Has anyone come across a gas cap or cylinder to match the style key on the right?

I' m working on friend's 2001 honda atv that has key cut like that ( on the right side), so maybe try a honda dealer.

Or just have 2 keys on the ring and accept that the way it is.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
