Suzuki GS400L - cafe racer - final stage - carburetor ajustment

I have gotten to the final stage in rebuilding a Suzuki GS400L from 1980 into a cafe racer. The final stage is ajusting the carburetur after I have put new exhaust pipes (more open = better Sound, in my opinion) and pod power filters on the bike. The carburetor is a Mikuni BS34 of type CV. I haven't done anything yet, but my question is - does anyone know if I can find a jet kit I can use (since it is of type CV) or should I try to go the manual way and just start with the main jets and just take it from there?

If I go he manual way:
Right now the main jets are 87,5 and from what I have read in here, this means the main jets should be 6 sizes up (102,5) +/- one size up and down (100/105) so I have somthing play with to start out. Does that sound right or does anyone have other suggestions?

Aren't the BS 34 CV carbs for 1000cc and up?

But when you only have two cylinders, it's like having them on an 800.

We did not get the 400 after '78, but I think they had BS34s. I know the 450 had them, too.
