      The...."custom"...exhaust will need attention before I ever fire her up...I have happy neighbors and wish to keep it that way!

        Glad it worked out. Good luck with recovering from surgery and sorting the bike.

        When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

          ...wasn't the cleanest cut to remove the old mufflers. Slips ons might be a challenge.....

            Thanks Glen...it's gonna take time on both, but I figure this as therapeutic.

                    This bike actually has the oem LH controls...my 850g didn't since someone pulled the whole self cancel system on that bike - hopefully this system works on this bike.

                        Now for the crummy part - the seat pan is really cracked. I'm guessing someone used the grab handle as a pushing device somewhere along the way - that's a NO-NO and for good reason!

                            She's got a late '70's skunk tail...still riveted together...that was correct, right?

                              ...but, she has the s/s trim strip still attached! Probably makes that alone worth the price of the bike...ok, with shipping probably not, but it's close!{lol}
