    Bs30 carb float size

First time poster long time scroller

I currently rebuilding my carbs for my 1980 gs250. I put new orings on the float needle screen and noticed that one is deeper than the othe. does it matter which side the deeper? My new float needles are the same size. do I just adjust that when I put the floats on.? I believe my carbs are bs30'inhave two instead of four. A quick response would be super helpful..I read the rebuild tutorial but it mentions nothing about this. I also looked through and search for this at least a dozen times

The o-rings are deeper on one side? The needle seat just needs one. Are you using a aftermarket carb rebuild kit?

A picture (or more) would be a BIG help.

So by deeper I mean... the slot that the float needle rests in one is deeper than the other image.jpg
