Couple of shots from an OPRT trackday at The Ridge Motorsports Park

Fun day on June 11th at the Ridge.
Weather was about 70, it was a 2 day event, but I had to switch the first day, due to conflict with daughters graduation party.
Ended up getting a day at two different tracks, which was cool.
Didn't show up at the track till 2am after graduation party (3.5 hour drive.)
I got about 3 hours sleep before I heard buddies watching MotoGP early in the morning.
Bike was not at it's best, another starter clutch snapped, the clutch was slipping all day, and burning oil.
Aside all that, it was still an awesome day. Just ordered about $900 in parts to freshen things up.
In one pic, my longtime buddy on my old TL leading, known since 4th grade.
I'm fixing to pass on the next downhill right.
53 laps by the end of the day.

    GS\'s since 1982: 55OMZ, 550ES, 750ET, (2) 1100ET\'s, 1100S, 1150ES. Current ride is an 83 Katana. Wifes bike is an 84 GS 1150ES

Great shots. Nicely set us by the photographer. Good subject matter too.

      Great pics, Carter.
Looks like you better add the cost of toe-sliders to the $900.

Here's a good video of the track layout with data.
This Canadian is fast on I believe a GSXR 750.
The video is 3 years old, but his lap times are still within 3 seconds of the fastest lap.

That sure is some big lean angle on those tires. Can't imagine much of any strips at all.
