- Daytona Handlebar from BikeMaster
- Manufactured from high quality steel yet economically priced All bars are 7/8" OD (outside diameter)
- Available in bright durable chrome or tough black paintMeasurements:
- Width = 29.2"
- Rise = 5.36"
- Pullback = 3"
- Center = 4.4"
Width = end to end measurement
Pullback = how far bars come back toward rider
Center = length of center between first bends

My questions are..... has anyone used these bars? is the center distance of 4.4 inches enough to bolt onto a '79 GS1000? I'm working out of town and my bike is 200 miles away. These bars are under $20 compared to ones from Dennis Kirk with 5 to 7 inches of center length for almost $80. I'm thinking for $20 If I don't like them I can always use them for a boomorang at the park. Just looking for your thoughts. Thanks Dave.

as the original L cables. I ziptied the cables in slight radiuses along the frame tube under the tank and they work fine. I also replaced the OEM L mirrors with the 81 1000E mirrors. (Same mirror but much faster than the G mirrors). Per Nessisms suggestion I got the S cables for my 850 project this winter but have not changed those bars out yet. I also am going with the BM Daytona bars on it.
