DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'm trying to help a friend locate a factory service manual for a 1982 GS 450 T, I believe it is the TXZ. with all the 550 750 and 1000 repair manuals I have found downloadable online and bass cliff's site, I thought for sure I would find a 450 manual for my buddies new bike. Not the case it is much harder to find. I found for $69.99 A GS 450 manual up to 1988, that is a lot of money!
I can't locate one through a net search, does anyone have a download of one in PDF or a link for 1?

Must've sold, darnit. I see some for upwards of $60-80+! There are several that dont have a year listed on fleabay. The New Zealand guy has one on there, might be the way to go. Looks different but I think it's his repro of the originals with all supplements added if I remember correctly.

Well it looks like there is an '86 version on repairmanual.com for $39.99 & an '88 version on there for more. The guy in New Zealand has one up with his own cover art & I believe it is a compilation of all years and supplements, about $53-57 shipped but takes a few weeks to ship. there was a thread on here several years ago where a half a dozen people were singing his praises quite a bit.

That's the guy I got the factory repro manual for my '82 450E from, and yeah I'll sing his praises!

Good quality re-print on good quality paper, all bound up with a protective plastic cover.

Can't remember the price but I think it was less than $50 including postage and was well worth it.
