    Let's See Those L's!!! [GS***L Picture Thread]

I'm inspired by some deals on the local Craigslist ads... haven't pulled the trigger yet.

The more and more I look at these ugly bikes, the prettier and prettier they get!

Stock -or- modded seats, tanks, and bars (so we can see their potential lol)... all are welcome!

This is my 79 GS1000L I picked up for $150 (sold it this spring after spending lots more fixing it)
Sargent Seat cover, E forks, Tarozzi rear sets, clubman bars, Emgo shocks. Mostly stock otherwise.

Sorry to hear of all of the unfortunate L owners.
It makes for a heavy heart.

It's unfortunate that the L's and other Japanese "customs" are so unappreciated by some. While strange to say, they are so American.

Nice bikes! To "L" with anyone who says differently.

This WAS my L up to a couple weeks ago, now totally dis-assembled for my G project, but will re-assemble as a 850L, motor with only 6k with same tins and close to same look.

                              Here's my 750:

The 750 in this picture still has the original tires and chain. As in the tires it rolled out of the showroom with.

And it's big brother the 1100 I just got off of old_school:

1100 needs work I'd say. Dosen't look quite as good as this picture, though.
