Site Contributions

Since 1996 The GSResources has been the premier place on the Internet for information on 1976-1985 Suzuki GS's. During that time we have provided this site and all of it's services free of charge.  Our costs have gone up since then due to significant growth in the size of the site, the number of participants, as well as additional interactive features.

Over the years we've also been supported by Electrex, who has underwritten the charges for the web space. Electrex never interfered with our site other than to request a link to their web pages and to provide a logo.  Although we have no problems with their fine support, we feel that enough of our users and site visitors would not mind making contributions so The GSResources could be solely independent.  So we have changed to a user supported website.

So how about tossing a couple bucks our way to help keep the site running? It's easy!  Select an payment method from our contribution options.  It can be as little as one U.S. dollar - and every dollar helps. 

You may use any of our payment options to make a more substantial contribution.  Contribute $15 or more, and we'll change your forum title to "Site Supporter". Good for one year.  You will also receive 1 The GSResources window cling. Donate $25 or more and get 3 decals and we'll make you a "Super Site Supporter". (It's not much, we know, but it's something!)

You can make a contribution using the following methods

Please include your forum user name or email address with your payment so that you can be properly credited.

Note:  We cannot accept personal checks drawn on non-US banks.

 

All contributions will be recognized on a page presented on the Site unless you wish to remain anonymous.  We will also modify your user description in the forum to indicate that you are a GS Site Supporter.  Please indicate if you wish to remain anonymous when making your payment.

 

What You Should Know

Although The GSResources is a non-money-making, user-supported service, we are not a registered not-for-profit corporation.  Contributions are NOT tax-deductible.

Although we had considered using PayPal as a method of payment, upon closer examination we determined that it was just too risky.  PayPal is not bound by Federal Banking laws therefore we felt it would put the checking account we needed to use to back the account at risk.  We just couldn't chance it.  So until a suitable online alternative exists, we will use only mailed methods of payment.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
