If you are looking for charging system replacements...

electrex.gif (6592 bytes)As you have probably seen, failed voltage regulators and stators lead the list for most GS electrical problems.  The reason for all these failures is primarily because of a flawed design within the Suzuki voltage regulator.  This is typically why simply replacing a blown Suzuki regulator with a new Suzuki unit only temporarily fixes the problem until it blows again.

What Electrex has done is created a vastly superior regulator and stator for GS series motorcycles.  It is meant as a direct replacement for the OEM units.  I had replaced my stock regulator with an Electrex unit after being stranded 300 miles from home.  In 4 years, I have not had any regulator problems whatsoever.

And did I mention the Electrex unit is cheaper than Suzuki's?  So if you are shopping for a voltage regulator and/or stator for your GS, be sure to check out Electrex!  Just click the Electrex graphic on any of our pages to go to their webpage.  The GSResources are no longer supported supported by Electrex but the facts stand that Electrex makes a hell of a product.  So be sure to check them out.
