I thought you might be interested in my GS1000 restoration project. I bought the bike (before pic) for $100, it had not been run since 1995 and had been stored outside during that time.

After spending a fortune on EBAY it is as you see. I have been riding it to work, and the more I ride it the happier the engine.

It is extremely comfortable and easy to ride. I made one modification in an effort to help it stop, and that was using a two piston front caliper from an SV650. With a strong four fingered squeeze, the front brake now works.
