Hello Mark

Herewith my submission for the "Photo of the month" on GSR.

My name is Ben Klopper and I have only recently discovered this fantastic site for classic GS machines.  I come from Wellington, near Cape Town in South Africa.

I bought this 1981 GS 850GX new in June 1981.  She has now done 28 800 km (about 18 000 miles).  I never used the bike for commuting - only weekend rides during summer!

This bike has not been "restored" - this is the way she has always looked, kept as such by occasional polishing with Blue Magic.

Thanks for your great site for lovers of these fine classic machines!
