Where you can find out the paint codes...

Buy parts at a low price for your snowmobile here at Alpha Sports, we carry a LARGE variety of parts and accesories.

find your model and in the parts list for your model, is a section for the color codes.

      also try here http://gs-classic.de/download/Suzuki-Farbcode.pdf

be advised color-rite is not cheep for there paint products, so if it's possible get your painted body parts scanned at an automotive paint store and have them mix it for you.
color-rite is the vender of the factory paints, so if your looking to restore and need the best possible color match this may be your only alternative.

          Great info Dale!

I snagged a copy of that page and put it on my site in the "mega-welcome".

I just had my bike painted and couldn't find the "real" Color-Rite code. But the shop matched the color I wanted really well. I think I like it a little better than the original Marble Indigo Blue (10U).

            Hey Cliff,

Didn't you buy a nice blue tank from ebay? Did you get it repainted or just the other parts?

                Hi Ed, Lynn,

I had all the body parts painted, even the tank. That way the color would match exactly as the paint shop couldn't find an exact match to the Suzuki "10U" color. I told them to go ahead and err toward a darker blue and away from the "aqua" that was part of the original "10U" color. They missed re-applying a pin stripe on the tank, but it will be just fine. I was just happy that he threw in the pinstriping for no extra cost. Unfortunately, the tail piece trim around the tail light got thrashed in my wreck. Poor Jessie is getting less and less "factory original" all the time.

                This is the place:

The owner goes to my church. I went to the Rancho Cucamonga store to have my work done. There are also stores in Glendora and Pomona.

                Thank you for your indulgence,

                BassCliff

Is it rude to ask the cost or was it a special "mates rates" as you know him?

                    Hi Dan,

                    No, I don't think it's rude.

I paid $300 to paint, pinstripe, clear coat the front fender, side covers, tail section, and tank.

                      Looking sweet.

                      Looking sweet.

When I took mine to the painter he tried to talk me out of changing from the blue to candy red. I see now he wasn't all crazy.

Once you have your paint codes is color rite the only shop that will get you some arisol or touch ups?

Anyone looking for space black, I found this post on the gixxer forum.

But through a lot of searching I found this....... Land Rover 921 Narvik Black is the same forumla as Suzuki's 019 Space Black. See sheet's below.

I also then found aerosol base coat, here http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_921_...ck_Aerosol.cfm

I know, I know colorrite.com does motorcycle paint cans in bc/cc, the one above is 22$ a can instead of 33$ a can from colorrite.

Also the website I linked for the base coat also has a better price for clear coat than colorrite, see this 2k urethane clear coat. http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_2_part_2k_aerosol.cfm

I just thought I'd share this info for everybody, I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for this kind of stuff. I will also post up pic results of my painting to see if I'm right in all this.
