    December 2002

As a 850G owner, I revisited the past BOM. I wanted to find what others have done to theirs, and inspire me in restoring mine.
God that bike is nice, and spend 30 minutes closely looking at all the details.
I then read the owners comments, only to realize it was Jojo's bike. I felt a pinch in my heart, even though I never met Harry.
I just wanted to share with you.

You should have seen the "before" pic. It was preceisly what we here in states would call a "parts bike" only. Old UJMs in decent shape are so common here, we give up on decrepit ones and part them out. We have no idea how rare nice ones are in the rest of the world. What we part out here are described as "fixer uppers" in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Harry saved that bike, and turned it into a thing of beauty.

Free speech is the foundation of an open society. Each time a society bans a word or phrase it deems “offensive”, it chips away at that very foundation upon which it was built.

        Hi Gray,
I thought the Rallye was june 26-28??
Presently negotiating with God and the Devil.
My final road exam is on the 25th of june, after that, I'll be able to ride alone (please don't make me explain how to get a riders license in Quebec).
Plus, I'm waiting for my tax return money.
If all the planets align, I'll be there!!

That's why I had to pass on The Smokey Rallye.
Hopefully next year. I plan on getting busy on the rallye thing next summer.
