    Craigs list search tool

    Awhile back someone posted a link to search all of craigs list without downloading any software. The link was as basic as it gets. All you had to do was complete the webaddress by typing in what you were looking for. Could someone please post this link again?
    Thanks
    Willie
    Common sense has become so uncommon that I consider it a super power.

    Present Stable includes:
    '74 GT750 Resto-mod I've owned since '79
    '83 GS1100E (The best E I've ever enjoyed, Joe Nardy's former bike)
    '82 GS1100G Resto project

    You need to be running firefox. IE wont work with it, or at least my generation of IE wont...

        Google allows you to search on specific domains so;

        gs1000s site:craigslist.org

        looks for any gs1000s items but only on Googles index listing for items on craigslist.org. The only downside to this approach is that it takes googles 'crawlers' a couple of days to build up it's list of things posted on craigslist so you may not catch the latest listings.

          I have used that one as well with good results.

          I managed to find my new tank and bodywork on eau claire Wisconsin Craigslist by simply going to google and typing "craigslist GS1000"....This method works pretty well too, except spelling variations may omit some results, but you can try "GS1000" or "GS 1000" with a space, etc

          It saved my butt, and thankfully the seller was willing to ship from Wisconsin to NY..

              Here's another one:
              CraigsList Search Engine Allows you to search all of craigslist as if you were searching Google. Stop searching one thing at a time and find what you really want fast and easy.

                I believe the one you are talking about was www.craigshelper.com. It was originally posted by guyver some time ago. If you click it, you will be re-directed to www.searchtempest.com.

                    Well Mr Morris, thats a good question. I've been searching for a winning lottery ticket for awhile now but haven't had any luck. I needed the CL tool to look for, among other things, various bikes that are on my Wish List along with a couple of different classic cars that I'd love to have. First, though, I really need to find that winning lottery ticket.
