auxillary fuel tank with a non GS petcock

    Dumb question

I am looking for an auxillary small fuel tank for my GS650 whilst I spray and un dent my current fuel tank, that I can hang from the handlebars.

The aux tank will be for when I sync the carbs with my yet to be bought cabtune.

My question is: The standard GS petcock has a fuel and vacuum outlet. The petcock I have has only fuel and no vaccum outlet.

Will it be a problem, or should I somehow try to adapt the standard GS petcock onto the aux tank?

you'll need to block off the vacuum pipe from the carbs while doing the sync (so it doesnt suck air), otherwise it should be fine

I use a plastic gas tank robbed from an old push mower. Rectangle tank 'bout 3x8''. works great. Sits across the frame rails with seat off, I put a bungee around it to keep from vibrating around. Just remember to plug vac. nipple on #2 carb as said earlier.
