    front axel dia... please...

    guys i,ve got a 1980 gs1000e with twin ventilated discs,, can anybody tell me please what dia... the axel is??as i want to get some shafting for a jig,, also are the an very easy upgrade ventilated discthat i can use on the gs1000e{twin discs}i,m not having dramas ,but i,d like to look at doing some benificial to the front brakes .....regards david

    Assuming you mean the front, it's 15mm

      I think the front axle is 17mm as used on most of the GS series.

        Front is 15, rear is 20.

          This is my brake setup

          I have used Honda Fireblade discs on my front end with Kawa twin piston calipers on both sides.
