does anybody know if GS 500 or 550 motor will fit easily into a 1977 gs 400 frame?

The 550s are four cylinder and the 400 is two. Anything is possible but a direct swap? I'd say no.

From what I know the later 500 twins the exhaust spacing is different, pipes wants to occupy the same space as your down tubes
