    Do your bike (and yourself) a favor and buy a good AGM;

    Check out the deal on USA-Made Big Crank™ ETX15L Battery at BatteryMart.com

      The factory replacement battery compatible with the sensor is YuMicron SYB14L-A2 (Yuasa)... these are shockingly expensive, and the usefulness of the sensor is questionable, as it monitors only one cell. If you want to use a wet cell battery without the sensor, the YB14L-A2 used on the G/GL 1100 will work, and is cheaper.
      Since you have the factory airbox in place, access to the battery is slightly a PITA, for routine checking/removal for charging etc, so I would (and did) do as Pontiac suggests and get a maintenance-free battery, wire in a Batter Tender charging pig-tail when you install it, and forget it for a few years. The Yuasa item # is YTX14AHL-BS but other brands may be cheaper and just as good, or better....I have always used Yuasa with good results, so no idea.

      Any chance you found the LED/resistor info we PM'd about earlier?
      Tony.
