Just to let everyone know that is wondering, i just put a kenda challenger 130/90/18 rear on my 82 550 katana. Fits fine. about 3/8" space between brake arm. Rides like a dream though. ill post pictures when i get home today.

Bad idea to run a 130 tire on a 2.15" wide wheel since the sidewalls will be pinched in which changes the tire profile. A 120 is pushing it width wise on a 2.15 wheel and a 130 is definitely too wide, although you are unlikely to get spit off or anything.
