    Rear Turn Signal Mounting

    Hey all,

I've just gotten around to mounting a set of rear blinkers from a 650g that came from someone one these boards. I asked them but they do not remember what exactly was used in order to hold the light to the frame. I have tried 1/4 and 3/8 inch nipple pipe thread, 7/16 bolt, 10mm, 12mm bolts. 10 is to small, 12 is to big. 7/16 threads in, but is very sloppy. pipe thread is to large diameter to fit. If you can't tell, the thread is course. I dont have a gauge available to tell what exactly it is inbetween the number of hardware stores I went to as well.

    Hope ya can help,
    Kev

    Hi,

I'm not familiar with that turn signal setup. On mine the threads are on the outside with the bolt securing them from the inside of the headlight ears or rear mounts.

You can buy these new at Partsnmore.com for $10 each.

    Thank you for your indulgence,

Thats exactly how my old broken ones were also. I bought these ones not knowing how cheap those ones were =/ would have saved 5$ and alot of headache.
