    Tach pointer removal

Anyone know if the tach pointer is easily removable? I don't want to go breaking anything but it looks like "neutral" point for the tach (when the bike is off) is below the pointer so I want to adjust it if need be to take care of my tach woes...

Its not tough to get the needles off, but you need to either cut the bezzle or the cup to get at the faces to remove it. Be carefull, that glass will crack super easy if you pry on the bezzle wrong..

Fortunately my '83 has a removable bezel (so I can get at the assembly pretty easily). If its as easy as prying them off, then I'm off to do it right now

Get something you can get under it EVENLY. Like a car door card remover tool/fork, thats what I use.. Even pressure, and it should come off clean..
