    Wobble in rear

I have a slight wobble when I hit the rear brake on my 700. It has brand new pads, bike has 8800 miles. I have checked all the obvious and nothing is loose. Could the rotor possibly be warped?

Try dragging the brake a little while to get it hot, then four or so times braking fairly hard from say 60 down to about 20 mph or so. Speed back up and do it again before the rotors get cooled off. Don't lock the wheel, don't come to a stop, just brake fairly hard.
Then cruise until it cools off and see how they work.

It could be. A quality machine shop could check it for you.

        Hi,

Someone posted recently that they took care of a wobble problem after checking the rear wheel alignment.

        Thank you for your indulgence,

I adjusted the M/C and freed up the pedal a little, than did the above, problem seems to have gone away. Thanks Mr tkent02!
