Help!!! Oil leaking from vent hose?

    1980 GS850G, 31700 miles.

Today I found a small puddle of clear, thick oily liquid dripping from a thin rubber hose that originates up near the fuel petcock (front of left side-cover) and ends behind the engine (I think its a vent hose).

Why would an oily liquid be leading from THAT?

    What should I do?

Is it coming from the airbox?

The hose looks like it comes from the airbox.
