    Fork Seal Replacement Tool

In the fork seal replacement tutorial, Mr Matchless refers to a home made tool with a 19 mm nut welded onto a t-handled rod. Am I correct in assuming this refers to a nut that will fit into a 19mm socket? At Lowes, they describe the nuts by the size bolt that it screws onto. They called it an M12. Or maybe I got a nut that's too small. A nut that would fit over an M19 would be pretty big.

I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

You could always take a 19mm socket to LOWES with you to find the right size nut! Ray.

Scroll down to the 4th post. I swear I searched for this first but guess I didn't use the right words. I guess you could include the names Steve, Bwringer, Nessism, Posplayer, etc in every search and probably get to the good stuff quick.
Yeah Ray, I checked the nut in one of Lowe's sockets and it's good to go. Just wanted to make sure it was supposed to be 19mm OD.

Got mine back together but haven't ridden it yet because the seat is off to be recovered. I just hope the 140 mm from the top level is right on my yr and model. I found conflicting info in my Clymer and other sources.
