Had my order acknowledged and shipped to me Oct 1st....got it today 17 days later...ouch.
Bummer part is, I had anticipated getting that `78 1000 E bike. Then after ordering the parts the guy tells me hes changed his mind as his 2 kids will want to get into biking.
So I had ordered 2 sets of "sending unit" gaskets, 2 fuel petcock "Orings", and 8 of those rubber pad thingys that go onto tabs on the frame that your side covers hook onto.
Next is to order the stripe kit from Reproduction Decals. They'll custom make an E model kit without the red pinstripe for me. I'm going with the white stripe and *only* gold pinstriping. It will look exactly like a regular C model red or blue bike only mine will be black with a white stripe/gold pinstripe.
