    February 2013 BOM

Great looking bike, congratulations. It's nice to see one of the smaller GSes get the lime light especially one with all the mods like yours. She sure looks like a canyon racer to me, well done.

    Congratulations Don,

Nice to see a fellow Aussie recognised for a job well done. Great colour and presentation.

            Don,

I for one also agree it's nice to see one of the smaller 4's honored as bike of the month. I ride a 650g and with my 150 pound build, it seems to be all the bike a sane person should need, but there is always that desire for a bit more power. It seems your bike would fill that need nicely. The classic lines of a 550, the fast blue color scheme, 6 speed, better brakes and an extra 10% ( or more?) HP kick in the rear, sounds great. My hat's off to you with envious regards!

                Nice!
I had a 78 550 and rode the heck out of it.

Nice mods! and nice color blue.

                Cool bike

Common sense has become so uncommon that I consider it a super power.

                    Great looking bike, Don.
Love the big brakes. The dual disc, spoked wheel look is my favourite.

                        Hey Don!

That's a great looking bike with some nice mods and it hasn't lost its old-school charm. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing.

All the best to you and yours,
