    Cliffhanger footage

    Have a look at this site for some footage of a hill climb that is held not too far from where I live. Although the bike in this case is not a Suzuki, the rider also races a GSX1100, and won the Period 6 class at the Island Classic earlier this year on a GSXR1100.

        Yep, Jay's good....

        I'd like to see him and the 1100 down here but Steve seems to want to go back to Philip Is with them.

        Coming down to the Burt this year '58 ?
        Looks like we'll be back after missing it last year. Try for the double win again.....

            Unfortunately someone was killed there last year, but it doesn't seem to stop people going back to it.

              Looks like we'll be back after missing it last year. Try for the double win again.....
              Was hoping to tour the South Island in February Greg, but no brakes approaching the Manfeild hairpin in January put a hold on that trip. Broke bones in both hands and am still on light duties at work.

              Hope to do the ride later this year but not sure if it will be for the Burt Munro or not. If we make it I'll look for you in the pits.

                Looked like a scene from "Mad Max"!............... Hillclimb has a completely different meaning in my neck of the woods....Cool video, thanks for sharing...nice wheelie at the end of his run!
