    Goodbye old friend....BMW Part Out!

We had a lot of fun over the past four years...sorry it has come to this.

I will continue today and start listing parts on my K-bike forums...

About half done! Should have her completely disassembled this weekend.
Been selling parts and got a list of people looking for more.

Very sad day indeed, not sure I would have the heart.
I have no doubt that there is good reason, but what led to the decision Bob?
The damage from the spill didn't look that serious.

It was totaled by the insurance company.
I bought it from them for just over $400, but it now has a salvage title, which creates issues with registration and resale value.

So be it...her parts will live on, helping other bikes keep going.

A lot of parts to sort, take pictures of and list on line.

Sad...but....I do have the new K11RS, and many of the parts from this one will move over to it.
So her spirit will be in the new bike...
