    For Kyler - sidecar stuff

This is the outfit this motor is going into. It's a pretty historic and well known one here in NZ. National champ at least once and when raced in Australia I believe it was 3rd in the Aussie GP.
When in that condition it had a very good FZR1000 motor with OW01 cams and flatslides...alas gone now.

This pic is the drysump setup Kyler was interested in. the sump itself appears to be a CNC production. It's origin is unknown - like a lot of sidecar bits it's been through several hands previously.
The incoming oil comes through the threaded hose fitting visible and feeds into what was the oil pump pickup - the hole with O ring groove and two screws beside it.
The scavenge pump fits where the water pump was and draws through a slot at the side of the sump, just out of picture, sorry. from the pump the oil of course goes to an external tank.
This setup is quite nice - in the past I've done similar conversions by welding the std sumps.
driving the scavenge pump this way means of course using an electric water pump...not a problem on a sidecar, plenty of room.

This pic should give a better idea how the scavenge pump sits and how it draws from an extension to the main sump.

To drysump your 750 Kyler, you'd probably have to belt drive a scavenge pump from the L/H end of the crank.
