Not a project, just a thought

This Bandit roller is FS locally. I was thinking it's too bad bike engine swaps are not as easy as they are for cars. It would be cool to swap in a GSX1100G shaft drive engine & swing arm onto this and have an example of what Suzuki could have built.

    2005 Suzuki Bandit 1200 Roller - $975 (Southwood)

I'm selling a 2005 Suzuki Bandit1200, minus engine and electronics. It is in very good condition, clean, clear title. Engine assembly removed for another bike. Any of the old GSXR 750 or 1100 (1985-1992) engines will bolt directly in. Also any of the Katana 600, 750, or 1100s (1988-2006) engines will bolt right in. And, any of the Bandit 600 or 1200 engines up through 2005 will work.
You will need the engine, carbs, harness, and exhaust from the donor bike.
This bike has 14,000 miles, and has never been wrecked or dropped. Pictured with a silver rear wheel, but I have a black one that can be switched out. Fork seal are good, not leaking. I used this Bandit for Commuting and Instructing at the race track, Bandits handle better than you would expect.

Yes it could, but the shafty part is a lot of work.
