    1978 Triumph Bonneville (Near Collectible)

A very low mile 1978 Bonnie T140 with 1455 miles. Not sure the end of the line 750 is nearly collectable as the T120 in their prime years.

Different strokes for different folks . . . Not mine

From what I read the closer Triumph got to its close down date the worse the quality became. A gent on another board from the UK talked about his friends brand new at the time Triumph- "The paint on the tank lifting up immediately from gasoline contact and the usual vibrations causing many problems." Lucas electrics is a bad word in the UK. Such a nice looking bike with a history of poor/no quality control. Same with BSA. But ironically both brands are very valuable today.
