    Nice find, those 1100s are the only non vintage Kats I'd look for. They look like they would make a great sport tourer.

      Yup.. It's a great tourer and you can still get a Corbin seat for it.

        A guy I know here in town had one of those he bought new, It is and has been his only means of transportation for as long as I have known him. 18 years he rides year round here in NH and has 173K on his 89 Kat 1100. He figured it was time to replace it 4 years ago with a new ZX14.H.e rides that year round also

          I love mine. It has taken soon work and money to get it sorted. You should be able to get the lower faring on ebay. The mirrors are a problem.

          Oh, you must be really strong to be able to pick up such a heavy m/c :-)

            Did you ride home from Renton?
            GS\'s since 1982: 55OMZ, 550ES, 750ET, (2) 1100ET\'s, 1100S, 1150ES. Current ride is an 83 Katana. Wifes bike is an 84 GS 1150ES
