    Greetings

    Greetings. I'm the owner of a 1981 GS450S since June '12.

Drove it for 15 months putting 9000 miles on it when I had a blown seal and the bottom end bearings went .

Picked up a 1982 GS1100GK that needed a lot of work.

Then I found an engine for the 450 . Got the 450 back on the road and decided to do up the 1100 correctly . Currently working on getting all the bags and plastics ready for paint. The original fairing was shot, but I have a Windjammer (as seen on the ) I need to get a tank so I can work on the engine while the good tank is out being painted.

      Cool bikes!

I suppose you didn't get the original fairing for the 450? I see you have the upper mounts for it still.

The 450 came as the first picture of it shows. I put the windjammer on it, but with getting the 1100, the jammer is going to go on that. I picked up a windshield for the 450 that is doing quite nicely.
