I've been using imagshack.com for years now. Works for me.

        1980 GS1000GT (Daily rider with a 1983 1100G engine)
1998 Honda ST1100 (Daily long distance rider)
1982 GS850GLZ (Daily rider when the weather is crap)

Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.

I did some research and have setup an account with IMGBOX, quick and easy peezy to sign up.

                Here are the features.

                Pros

                • No storage expiration
                • No bandwidth limitation
                • Very easy to use
                • Registration isn't required to upload or download images

                • Accepts the most popular image formats
                • Supports drag and drop uploads
                • Supports hotlinking
                • Can upload multiple pictures at once
                • Image downloads retain their name and extension

                Cons

                • Unable to create a title or description for uploads
                • Only three image file formats are acceptable

                Acceptable Image Formats

GIF (still or animated), JPG, PNG
                imgbox Limitations

Any image you upload to imgbox must not exceed the 10 MB file size limit.
Unless the terms of service are violated, photos have no storage expiration date.

Photo Bucket would resize and rotate the images before posting but IMGBOX does not so I do the following.

I use MS Paint to resize the pictures from my iphone, (50% reduction) and MS picture editor to rotate the picture if needed.

A little bit of work but I will go through my pictures and resize them and do a "save as" with an "A" added to the title so I know which ones to download to IMGBOX.

After that step, I'll go through my build threads and re-link the pictures a bit each day for the next while till I'm done.

                David.

I've been sharing pics from Google photos for a several years now, but for some reason they don't make it as easy as they should. I have to figure out how, every time. The good part is that all the pics I take get uploaded automatically, since I almost always use the phone.

Hmm. All my old pbucket pics still show up fine in the old threads. I wonder if the new troubles are only for the high-volume users.

They just haven't got to you yet. In the IT biz there was a vendor that had a popular product LogMeIn Rescue so I could send you to a website, click a link, and get me connected to your PC. They basically increased the price 1000% overnight. At the time there weren't many alternatives so we had to suck it up and pay. Not the case with PhotoBucket. Their demise will be fast and hard, someone will buy the ashes and start over.

I used less than 4% of my storage space but received my ransom email this last week AFTER I already began deleting my pictures off their site (keep all of my pictures on my home system)

I use LogMeIn Pro for work and personal use. Haven't found a cheaper alternative either.

X2 for Flickr. It used to be limited on how many pictures you could post for free but they've recently opened it up to a terabyte of free storage. Who knows how long that'll last in the greedy new world order but for now it's great.
