GSXR vs GS1100GL Front Forksn an

Can I replace the 1982 GS 1100 GL Front Fork by a GSXR one?

Man, that's a long fork to replace with a much shorter one-especially if you want to go with USD.

I don't know anything about the GSXR fork you want to put on, but I will bet that there is more than one "GSXR fork" available, and you didn't say which one.

Even without knowing which GSXR fork, you should know that the triples on the Ls are different than the Es and Gs.
If the GSXR forks are upside-down forks, you will have to change them anyway, but be sure to watch the overall geometry.
