    After days of smoke pollution, we were finally able to see the sun last evening. The picture was taken around 7pm.

    The same here in north Idaho and eastern Washington. THEE most unhealthy air in the nation over the past week due to being surrounded by forest fires. Sadly. the new norm. I can't remember an August that wasn't this way.

        I guess the wind shifted. We had weeks of smokey skies in New Mexico but it's pretty clear now.

        Two weeks ago this was the view looking toward Arizona. Not as bad as some other places though, thankfully!
