the makings of a streetfighter: in need of advice

I am in need of a little advice on my project fo this winter. I am taking a 78GS750 with a 1000 engine already mounted, extending the swingarm, attaching a GSXR front end. My problem is I need to know if I can put a stock GSXR or hyabusa rim on an extended, but still spaced like stock swingarm. I was also wondering what other sportbike front ends would fit on my 78. Thank you.

the word out on the streets is: you can use almost any gsxr front end from the 80`s, but im not sure.

      streetfighter build

I've heard alot of people use the inverted front end from the early 90's GSXRs for streetfighters. It's a great unit, strong and handles well, not to mention it bolts right on. I think the swing arm is a fairly easy fit too.

Check out Biker 66. He did a great job on his.

      Good luck.
